About the Role
You'll oversee clinical operations across multiple centers within an assigned market, working closely with Regional Presidents to develop and execute strategic plans. Your primary focus will be on ensuring successful clinical operations, meeting/exceeding plan market earnings, and cultivating a culture that aligns with ChenMed's core model and values.
Main Responsibilities:
- Direct supervision of Clinical Directors within assigned markets
- Performance management and training of Medical Directors
- Clinical outcomes accountability and day-to-day management of Medical Directors
- Talent development of PCPs, NPs, and Medical Directors
- Cultivating center-level physician culture aligned with ChenMed's core model and values
- Partnering with Clinical COE and Talent Acquisition to support clinical talent lifecycle
Requirements:
- MD or DO in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, Geriatrics, or similar specialty
- Strong leadership experience as Medical Director or equivalent with Medicare or Medicaid patient population
- Board Certification in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, Geriatrics, or similar is preferred
- Current, active license to practice medicine in State of employment
- Experience with population risk management or complex chronic disease care management
