Description
Cherokee Classical Academy seeks a full-time Registrar. This position is responsible for maintaining student education records at the school level as well as performing related duties to support master scheduling, and maintaining a student information system. This is a year round position. This position reports to the Head of School on Cherokee Classical Academy’s Cherokee County campus.
The responsibilities of this role include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Manage SIS (Infinite Campus)
- Maintain computerized records including student cumulative folders, progress reports, class rosters, scheduling and schedule changes, and grade books.
- Supporting school staff, students, parents, and community members in responding to requests regarding student records and reports
- Enter student data into appropriate databases including working collaboratively with Special Education and ELL staff to ensure accuracy in FTE counts every semester
- Coordinate grading/report card process, including verification and correction of grades, and printing and distribution of report cards.
- Calculate grade point averages, determine valedictorian/salutatorian designations, and prepare honor rolls.
- Audit a variety of programs and processes (e.g. certify students for graduation,) for the purpose of ensuring compliance with established policies, procedures and/or education codes.
- Process and transmit requests for student information, including student transcripts for colleges and universities.
- Assist enrollment coordinator and records manager with the enrollment, withdrawals, and transfer of students and process applicable records.
- Assist campus administration and other staff with the preparation of reports and student data information.
- Assist with GADOE Data Collections
- Serve as primary testing coordinator to administer all testing throughout the school year as needed.
Qualified candidates will meet the following requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or
- HS Diploma plus equivalent work experience may be substituted for degree
- Two years experience working with student records and data entry in an educational setting, experience with Infinite Campus and Georgia Department of Education strongly preferred
- Comfortability and familiarity with software, applications, and technology

About Cherokee Classical Academy:
Cherokee Classical Academy (CCA) is a tuition-free public charter school set to launch in Cherokee County, GA. It will open for grades K-6 in the 2025-2026 school year and will continue to add a grade each year until reaching a full K-12 configuration. Families who reside in the counties of Cherokee, Cobb, Bartow, Fulton, Pickens, Paulding, and the cities of Marietta, Cartersville, and Atlanta are eligible to apply for enrollment.
