Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and strategic Budget Manager to oversee our financial planning and budget management processes. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills and a deep understanding of accounting principles. This role requires proficiency in various software programs and the ability to collaborate effectively with different departments to ensure financial objectives are met.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and manage the organization’s annual budget.
  • Conduct thorough account analysis and reconciliation to ensure accuracy in financial reporting.
  • Collaborate with department heads to gather budgetary needs and provide guidance on financial planning.
  • Monitor budget performance throughout the year, identifying variances and providing recommendations for corrective actions.
  • Prepare detailed reports on budget status, forecasts, and financial trends for senior management.
  • Utilize accounting software or other relevant tools to streamline budgeting processes.
  • Ensure compliance with public accounting standards and corporate accounting practices.
  • Provide training and support to staff on budgeting processes and financial management.

Experience

  • Proven experience in budget management or a related financial role is essential.
  • Strong background in account reconciliation and account analysis.
  • Familiarity with public accounting principles is a plus.
  • Proficient in accounting software including QuickBooks, Xero, Sage, or similar platforms.
  • Excellent analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills for effective collaboration across departments.
  • Experience in finance, accounting, or a related field is preferred.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: From $17.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 20 per week
