Senior Machine Learning Engineer
As a Senior Machine Learning Engineer, you will support the Department of Labor and lead advanced ML initiatives in collaboration with the AI team. This role requires end-to-end ML development, innovative applications, and promoting responsible AI/ML practices.
Compensation & Benefits:
Estimated Starting Salary Range for Senior Machine Learning Engineer: $147,000 to $150,000
Pay commensurate with experience.
Full time benefits include Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K, and other possible benefits as provided. Benefits are subject to change with or without notice.
Senior Machine Learning Engineer Responsibilities Include:
- Develop, train, test, and deploy ML models with robust monitoring.
- Automate workflows for data collection, training, and deployment.
- Implement CI/CD pipelines for ML projects.
- Monitor and optimize production ML models.
- Collaborate with data scientists to transition models to production.
- Document processes and provide knowledge transfer.
- Lead customer communications and project presentations.
- Coordinate tasks with peer and subordinate ML Engineers.
- Performs other job-related duties as assigned
Senior Machine Learning Engineer Experience, Education, Skills, Abilities requested:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
- 7 years of technical experience
- Proficiency in ML frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch).
- Strong programming skills (Python, R, Bash).
- Experience with MLOps, CI/CD, and infrastructure tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
- Expertise in cloud services (e.g., AWS SageMaker, Azure ML).
- Excellent communication and documentation skills.
- Preferred Certifications:
- AWS Certified Solutions Architect
- Microsoft Azure Solutions Architect Expert
- Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect
- Ability to obtain a Public Trust
- U.S. Citizenship required.
- Must pass pre-employment qualifications of Cherokee Federal
