Strategy Manager Responsibilities Include:
- Lead organizational strategy and process improvement initiatives, ensuring alignment with the organization's strategic objectives.
- Oversee and manage a small team, delegating tasks effectively and ensuring successful execution of deliverables.
- Assess and refine existing governance frameworks and decision-making structures, identifying opportunities for improvement and efficiency.
- Develop frameworks to enhance decision-making processes, improving coordination, transparency, and execution across business units and stakeholders.
- Partner with senior leaders to optimize organizational structures, clarify decision rights, and streamline governance pathways for more effective operations.
- Support the alignment of operating model processes with governance structures, ensuring consistency in workflows and decision-making cadences.
- Develop strategic recommendations, executive-level reports, and presentations to effectively communicate progress, risks, and opportunities for enhancement.
- Facilitate collaborative working sessions, stakeholder engagements, and strategic discussions to drive alignment and refine implementation plans.
- Provide ongoing design and implementation support for governance and process improvements, incorporating lessons learned to ensure long-term success.
- Work across a multidisciplinary team, ensuring seamless integration of governance and strategy initiatives across various workstreams.
Strategy Manager Experience, Education, Skills, Abilities requested:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Public Administration, Policy, or a related field.
- 7–10 years of experience in strategy, consulting, governance transformation, or organizational design within government, consulting, or large-scale corporate environments.
- Proven experience leading teams, managing workloads, and overseeing deliverable creation in a strategic or consulting capacity.
- Demonstrated ability to drive organizational transformation efforts, streamline decision-making frameworks, and develop operational strategies.
- Strong analytical and structured problem-solving skills, with experience in governance structures, operational processes, and business optimization.
- Exceptional stakeholder engagement and facilitation skills, with the ability to collaborate across leadership and operational teams.
- Ability to translate complex organizational challenges into clear, actionable strategies.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word), project management tools, and collaboration platforms (e.g., SharePoint, JIRA, Confluence, MS Teams).
- PMP, Lean Six Sigma, or equivalent process improvement experience is preferred, but not required.
Preferred Experience
- Experience in government, consulting, or corporate transformation initiatives, focusing on governance and operational strategy.
- Familiarity with change management methodologies and best practices in governance and business process transformation.
- Ability to navigate fast-moving, ambiguous environments, balancing high-level strategic planning with tactical execution.
