HWY 66 Diner at Hard Rock Casino & Hotel Tulsa is hiring a Diner Bar Hop to be responsible for providing friendly and efficient service to guests, specializing in taking orders and crafting delicious ice cream desserts. This role requires excellent customer service skills, attention to detail in preparing orders, and the ability to handle transactions accurately in a fast-paced environment.
- Greet guests and take food and dessert orders from both walk-in guests and servers.
- Maintain outstanding guest service relations for all guests entering and leaving the diner.
- Ensure cleanliness of the work station, menus, and all necessary tools and equipment.
- Prepare a variety of ice cream desserts, including sundaes, malt shakes, and other specialty items.
- Perform financial transactions and process guest payments accurately.
- Uphold a safe and sanitary work environment, adhering to food safety guidelines.
- Promote a fun, friendly, and safe atmosphere for both guests and team members.
- High School Diploma or GED, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Ability to obtain a food handler’s card.
- Ability to obtain and maintain licensing by the appropriate gaming authority.
- Ability to obtain a state-issued alcoholic beverage license (note: this might not be strictly necessary if the diner doesn't serve alcohol, but it's listed in the provided requirements).
- Ability to stand for long periods, bend, and kneel.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.
