What are the responsibilities and job description for the Drop Count Supervisor position at Cherokee Nation Entertainment?
Hard Rock Casino & Tulsa is hiring a Drop Count Supervisor to oversee the daily collection, transportation, and counting of gaming revenue from electronic games, ticket redemption kiosks, table games, and poker. This role is essential in maintaining the integrity of gaming operations while ensuring strict adherence to regulatory standards and company policies.
- Manage and develop a high-performing Drop Count team, including hiring, training, scheduling, and performance management.
- Supervise daily drop and count processes for electronic games, ticket redemption kiosks, table games, and poker.
- Prepare and analyze daily reports for Accounting and Gaming Operations.
- Ensure strict compliance with CNGC, NIGC, CNB, and CNE regulations, policies, and procedures.
- Review monthly financial statements, identifying discrepancies and trends to inform budgeting and operational decisions.
- Optimize drop and count procedures, equipment, and software. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
- Maintain the integrity of uncounted gaming proceeds and ensure a secure work environment.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors.
- Work closely with Accounting, Gaming Operations, Security, and Surveillance departments.
- Fills in as necessary to maintain adequate staffing levels.
- We're looking for someone with a minimum of a high school diploma (or equivalent) and at least one year of drop and count or previous leadership experience in a similar role. Alternatively, a blend of education and relevant experience will do the trick!
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work seamlessly with a team.
- Be prepared for a vibrant atmosphere with exposure to smoke, noise, and bright lights.
- This role requires the ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
- Be ready to put your best foot forward with constant standing and walking throughout the shift.
- Ability to obtain and maintain licensing by the appropriate gaming authority.
- Must be willing and able to be on call and work high volume days (including holidays) and hours.
- Must proficiently operate basic office equipment, computer, and basic computer programs utilized in daily operations (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.).
- Must have and maintain a valid driver’s license to assist with various properties, if needed.
