Cherokee Casino Will Rogers Downs is gearing up for an exciting horse racing season and is hiring a seasonal Racing Maintenance Equipment Driver to join our team! The Seasonal Racing Maintenance Equipment Driver plays a crucial role in ensuring the track is in optimal condition for racing. This position involves operating heavy equipment, performing routine maintenance, and contributing to the overall upkeep of the racetrack.

- Operate tractors, water trucks, and other assigned heavy equipment.
- Perform routine equipment maintenance checks.
- Assist with track maintenance and preparation.
- Follow all safety procedures and wear appropriate personal protective equipment.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- At least 1 year of experience operating heavy equipment.
- Knowledge of horse racing operations is preferred.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot basic equipment issues.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and often demanding outdoor environment.
- Ability to withstand exposure to extreme temperatures, dust, and noise.
- Ability to lift and carry objects up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to obtain and maintain licensing by the appropriate gaming/racing authority.
- Must have and maintain a valid driver's license.
