JOB SUMMARY: Oversee the design and maintenance of the Cherry Creek School District’s and schools’ public websites. Design unified and accessible web structures that align with the District’s mission, goals, policies, and programs. Create visually compelling and user-friendly layouts that enhance the District’s online presence while ensuring consistency across all web platforms. Combine technical expertise in web design with creative vision to deliver innovative solutions that support effective communication and engagement. Focus on establishing a web presence that represents the District’s values and activities in a professional and cohesive manner.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: The minimum prerequisites of formal education, professional work experience, certifications, licenses, endorsements, designations, trainings, and other criteria that a candidate must fulfill to be considered for a position. It is essential that certifications, licenses, endorsements, designations, and trainings are fulfilled, valid, and not expired.
- Criminal background check and fingerprinting required
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, web development, digital marketing, or similar field
- Three (3) years of professional work experience in web design, publishing, public relations, social media management, multimedia production, communications, or marketing
- Graphic design experience producing web-ready graphics and documents optimized for web delivery
- Basic knowledge of standard office procedures, practices, and office technology
- Basic knowledge of project management and process development techniques
- Advanced knowledge of current web standards and willingness to learn, grow, and apply new technologies as tools emerge
- Intermediate verbal and written communication skills
- Advanced technical skills, including experience with content management systems, web standards, HTML, information design and site analytics
- Ability to support people individually or in group training
- Ability to maintain integrity of confidential information regarding all business matters

- Five (5) years of professional work experience in web design, publishing, public relations, social media management, multimedia production, communications, or marketing
- Experience working in the public sector
