SUMMARY:
Assist Career and Technical Education (CTE) Administrators in providing expertise, vision, and leadership to instructors, administrators, and community interest groups in the designated area of expertise, specifically, state and district compliance for CTE programs. Collaborate with the CTE Campus Administrators to lead the continuous improvement in instructional practices of the designated content area for all students. Facilitate and communicate all opportunities, needs, and trainings for CTE Program compliance for CTE students and CTE teachers.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop, implement, oversee, and manage CTE program development, including but not limited to program quality assurances, common course title alignment, course sequencing, advisory committees, Career and Technical Student Organizations (CTSO), teacher credentialing, program evaluations, grant request processing, program audits, etc. [Daily, 25%]
- Lead the formation, development, maintenance, and success of new and existing registration and promotional materials, including but not limited to course guides, registration applications, CTE website, PowerSchool, Salesforce, etc. [Daily, 20%]
- Support programming that helps underrepresented students explore fields in current and emerging professions, in addition to promotional CTE programming including, but not limited to, CTE promotional events, career-related field trips, Career and Technical Student Organizations (CTSO) conferences, Professionals of Color conference, Professionals of Color panels, Women in Work conference, district PASS meetings, etc. [Daily, 15%]
- Ensure the adoption of new program compliance parameters and reinforcement of existing program compliance parameters. [Daily, 10%]
- Build and maintain strong professional relationships with all CTE colleagues, ensuring collective and collaborative support for the CTE mission and vision. [Daily, 5%]
- Establish, prepare, and facilitate ongoing professional development events/trainings regarding Colorado Community College System (CCCS) and Cherry Creek School District’s (CCSD) CTE program compliance. Stay abreast of current program compliance parameters. [Weekly, 10%]
- Write and update the CTE Handbook to ensure alignment with CCCS and CCSD CTE guidelines. [Weekly, 5%]
- Facilitate and lead annual CTE trainings. [Annual, 5%]
- Perform other related duties as assigned or requested. [Daily, 5%]
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's degree.
- Three (3) years of instructional leadership or administrative leadership.
- Experience working directly with people from diverse racial, ethnic, and socioeconomic backgrounds.
- Racially conscious and culturally competent with the skill, will, capacity, and knowledge to commit to a culture of continuous improvement.
- Basic knowledge of typical office equipment such as telephones, copiers, fax machines, email, etc.
- Intermediate knowledge of Colorado Career and Technical Education.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office and Google Suite.
- Advanced knowledge of infusing educational technology, 21st Century Literacy skills, and standards-based curriculum into instructional practice to enhance student achievement.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, AND REGISTRATIONS:
All certifications, licenses, and registrations must be valid and unexpired.
- Colorado Department of Education (CDE) teaching license
- Colorado driver’s license.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Master’s degree.
- Five (5) years of successful classroom teaching experience.
- Experience with Salesforce.
- Colorado Administrator/Principal license.
- Advanced knowledge of Colorado Career and Technical Education.
