Lawn Care Worker

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Lawn Care Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for landscaping and maintaining outdoor spaces, ensuring that our clients' lawns and gardens are healthy, vibrant, and aesthetically pleasing. This role requires hands-on work with various tools and equipment, as well as a strong understanding of plant care and landscape management.

Duties

• Operate and maintain power tools and equipment necessary for lawn care tasks.
• Perform mowing, edging, and trimming of grass to maintain a neat appearance.
• Dig and prepare soil for planting flowers, shrubs, or trees.
• Implement irrigation systems to ensure proper watering of lawns and gardens.
• Conduct tree care activities including tree trimming and pruning to promote healthy growth.
• Assist in landscape design projects by planting flowers, shrubs, and trees according to design plans.
• Maintain cleanliness of tools and equipment after each use to ensure longevity.

Skills

• Proficiency in using power tools such as lawn mowers, trimmers, blowers, and other landscaping equipment.
• Strong mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot minor issues with equipment.
• Ability to dig, plant, prune, and maintain various types of plants in garden settings.
• Experience with tree care practices including trimming and health assessments.
• Attention to detail in maintaining landscapes to meet high standards of quality.
• Physical stamina to perform labor-intensive tasks outdoors in various weather conditions.

Job Type: Seasonal

Pay: $14.00 - $17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
