Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Lawn Care Crew Leader to oversee a lawn and landscape maintenance team. This role is essential for ensuring the delivery of high-quality lawn care and landscape maintenance services. As a Lawn Care Crew Leader, you will be responsible for supervising crew members, ensuring safe operations, and ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and to the highest standards.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and lead a team of lawn care professionals in various landscaping projects.
- Maintain high standards of landscape maintenance, including mowing, trimming, and planting.
- Oversee/complete shrub trimming activities to promote healthy growth and aesthetics.
- Oversee/complete mulching services.
- Ensure that all equipment is properly maintained and used safely by crew members.
- Build effective relationships with clients by providing exceptional service and addressing any concerns promptly.
- Train new team members on best practices in lawn care and groundskeeping techniques.
- Conduct regular inspections of work sites to ensure compliance with company standards.
- Manage inventory of supplies and materials needed for landscaping projects.
Requirements
- Proven experience in lawn care, landscape maintenance, or groundskeeping.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively.
- Knowledge of plant care practices and landscape design principles is preferred.
- Ability to maintain equipment and perform minor repairs as needed.
- Excellent communication skills to interact with clients and team members professionally.
- Physical stamina to perform manual labor in various weather conditions.
- A valid driver’s license is required for transportation to job sites.
