Located on 220 acres near Boise, Idaho, Cherry Gulch is a small private Therapeutic Residential Treatment Program for boys in 5th through 9th grade. Cherry Gulch is seeking an Academic Director to lead our dynamic team of teachers in bringing support, education, and success to our wonderful students.

Primary Position Responsibilities:
- Leads the academic team as they prepare and provide educational lessons in core and elective classes.
- Serves on the campus leadership team to evaluate and plan current and future programming.
- Works with the school admissions team to provide marketing material and pertinent information to potential clients and referral sources.
- Brings expertise and coaching to the Academic team as they respond to student and parent needs.
- Provides classroom support as needed.
- Ensures that all Academic operations meet school contractual and accreditation requirements.
- Ensures that student IEP interventions and objectives are being met.
- Ensures service excellence is met through all aspects of the academic department's responsibilities.
Certifications/ Qualifications:
- Must have current Administrator endorsement
- Special Education endorsement (preferred)
- Minimum (2) years experience in administration
- Strong clinical and interpersonal skills, ability to lead and direct the work of others, and excellent written and verbal communication skills. Intermediate-level PC skills are required.
Education Requirements:
- Master’s Degree in Education or related field required
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $75,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
