We are looking for a dynamic and results-oriented sales and business development associate to drive revenue growth, manage client relationships, and oversee showroom operations. This role is a key part of the team, responsible for supporting associates, facilitating an outstanding client experience, and handling showroom floor operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales and business development, preferably in the golf industry, along with experience in digital sales tools and e-commerce backend management.
Primary Responsibilities
Client Experience & Sales Development:
- Identify and establish new business opportunities in underdeveloped areas.
- Re-engage and revive relationships with past clients, particularly during the off-season.
- Lead showroom sales, ensuring an exceptional customer experience.
- Present collections, conduct sales meetings, and process orders during peak seasons.
- Plan and execute trunk shows and related promotional activities.
- Provide leadership to the sales team, ensuring smooth sales floor operations and efficiency.
- Assist clients with purchases and returns, addressing their needs and concerns to ensure satisfaction.
- Educate customers on product features and benefits, demonstrating technical knowledge and expertise.
- Assist in creating digital sales tools to support wholesale sales efforts.
Secondary Responsibilities
Operations, E-Commerce & Store Management:
- Open and close the showroom in accordance with company guidelines.
- Oversee product presentation, including visual merchandising and stock replenishment.
- Utilize in-store technology (Shopify, ordering systems) to support sales and operations.
- Coordinate with HQ management on inventory needs and ordering processes.
- Perform data entry for accounting, stock management, and pricing.
- Support e-commerce backend operations, including product uploads, pricing updates, and content management.
- Assist in e-commerce order fulfillment during peak periods.
- Help optimize the online shopping experience by maintaining product accuracy and availability.
- Assist with general office operations as needed.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Education : High School Diploma Required; Associates or Bachelor’s Degree preferred
- Experience: Prior experience in sales, business development, or retail, preferably within the golf industry.
- Strong understanding of e-commerce platforms (e.g., Shopify) and digital sales tools.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills, with a focus on enhancing the guest experience.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating with a broader sales and management team.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
