CBA is seeking an enthusiastic and engaging individual with a deep interest in supporting the mission of serving neurodiverse learners. The front office personnel set the tone for the entire school. At CBA, every adult is responsible for the safety and well-being of every student. The position requires a minimum of an associate's degree and additional clerical training. Additional administrative experience is preferred.
Education - Associate Degree required, bachelor degree preferred.
This part-time position is ideal for someone who thrives in a collaborative environment. Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook required.
Reports to: Executive Assistant to the Head of School
Job Type: Part time- hourly
Working Hours: Monday-Friday 3:00pm-6:00pm when extended care is in session.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Greet and screen visitors, answer telephones.
- Serve as liaison between parents and the classroom.
- Handle phone calls and assist with light administrative tasks.
- Respond to initial enrollment inquiries regarding the school and filter calls to the director of admission.
- Demonstrate flexible and forward thinking.
- Maintain confidentiality.
- A life-long learner who reflects on her/his own work and regularly seeks feedback to improve
- Builds rapport with students, families, and coworkers.
- Effective communicator.
Qualifications
- Must be a team player; willing to support all aspects of the program.
- Strong interpersonal communication skills.
- Highly organized and motivated.
- General knowledge of standard office practices, procedures, and equipment.
- General knowledge of school routine and procedures.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with others.
- Ability to organize and perform work independently.
- Computer literate and technologically proficient in standard word processing, spreadsheet, and database software applications.

Expected hours: 12 – 15 per week
