About the Job
Chesapeake College is seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician II to join their team. This role requires someone who can perform a variety of maintenance tasks, including equipment operation and repair.
Main Responsibilities
- Perform a variety of maintenance tasks, including equipment operation and repair.
- Assist trade technicians in performing maintenance tasks.
- Operate equipment such as backhoes, bobcats, forklifts, trucks, personal lifts, mowing equipment.
- Complete monthly sprinkler inspections and logs.
Requirements
A high school diploma or G.E.D. and at least three (3) years work experience in any combination of the following trades: Electrical, HVAC, Plumbing, Carpentry are required. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic and excellent communication skills.
