Chesapeake Professional Development Group, LLC seeks a highly skilled Senior Digital I&C Instructor to contribute to the development and delivery of training programs for our INPO-accredited I&C technical training program.
Job Highlights:
- Location: North Anna Power Station
- 4x10 schedule (flexible)
- $100/day, up to $700/week for qualified candidates
About the Role:
The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge of INPO-accredited instructional design theory, including the Systematic Approach to Training (SAT), and expertise with Westinghouse/Emerson Ovation and/or Common-Q DI&C platforms. A Bachelor's degree in Physical Science, Technology, Mathematics, or Engineering is required.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver training materials for complex topics in Digital Control Systems (DCS) and Digital Instrumentation & Control (I&C) equipment
- Analyze, design, and evaluate training programs in alignment with nuclear industry and regulatory requirements
- Lead classroom, laboratory, and on-the-job training sessions
Key Requirements:
- 12 years of related experience OR 5 years in DCS-based digital I&C systems
- In-depth knowledge of INPO-accredited instructional design theory
- Expertise with Westinghouse/Emerson Ovation and/or Common-Q DI&C platforms
