We at the Cheshire Community Pool are looking to hire hard-working and enthusiastic people to join our staff.
We are hiring Lifeguards at the Cheshire Community Pool for Part-time work. With our weekend hours ranging from 12-5 both Saturday and Sunday. And 6a-11a 11a-4pm 3p-8p and 4p-9p Monday to Friday.
We are a 50-meter pool that offers an in-water inflatable obstacle course, diving boards, and a rock wall hovered over our pool.
Starting pay starts at $18.35 but can increase depending on experience
Responsibilities
To actively scan and survey the pool
To enforce all rules and safety measurements
Recognize and respond quickly and effectively in emergencies.
To work as a team do fulfill any task at hand
Complete additional duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Optional Responsibilities
Have the ability to teach swim lessons
Requirements
A Red Cross Lifeguarding certificate
Be at least 16 years or older
The ability to perform our pool's prerequisites. This includes a 2-minute tread with no hands, swimming 20-yards to retrieve a 10-pound brick, and a 200-yard swim.
The ability to stand for long periods of time
To be able to communicate verbally to enforce all pool rules
Ability to sit, walk, and stand for long periods of time
Decision-making skills
Demonstrate good character and integrity
