What You Will Do :
- Provide Therapy Services : Collaborate with the Occupational Therapist (OT) to implement individualized treatment plans designed to promote functional independence and improve the overall well-being of patients with spinal cord injury, brain injury, and other neurological conditions.
- Patient Assessment : Gather relevant patient information and assist the Occupational Therapist in developing comprehensive treatment goals based on the patient's specific needs and abilities.
- Treatment Implementation : Administer therapeutic interventions, such as therapeutic exercises, activities of daily living (ADL) training, functional mobility training, and adaptive equipment training, under the supervision of the Occupational Therapist.
- Collaboration : Communicate effectively with the interdisciplinary team, including Occupational Therapists, Physical Therapists, Speech-Language Pathologists, and Nursing staff, to coordinate patient care and ensure a holistic approach to rehabilitation.
