Description
The district is seeking a qualified applicant to substitute for a school secretary. Performs varied secretarial and clerical office support work of a responsible and confidential nature under the direction of the Principal; assists in organization and administration of school activities, programs and operations as assigned; interacts with students; teachers and other school staff; parents/guardians/central office and the public.

Hours: 6:30AM - 2PM, Monday - Friday (Cheshire High School ) or schedule to be determined based on school's operational needs

Qualifications
- High school diploma
- Minimum of three years of progressively responsible administrative/clerical experience including two years of secretarial experience work experience
- Working knowledge of district software applications such as Microsoft Office, Google Education Applications, etc.
- Prior experience in an educational setting is desirable · Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Speak and comprehend verbal and written Standard English
- Excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality in all matters related to students and staff
- Calm demeanor in crisis situations
