What are the responsibilities and job description for the Summer Maintenance Worker - Facilities position at Chester County Intermediate Unit?
- Ability to perform the below duties (instruction and materials provided).
- Valid driver's license preferred.
- Current police, child abuse & FBI fingerprint clearances required if 18 years of age or older.
- Clean CCIU schools, offices, and spaces in preparation for next school year.
- Move classroom furniture as part of the cleaning process.
- Move classroom supplies and boxes to other areas within the CCIU organization.
- Assist maintenance employees in some summer tasks such as landscape maintenance, mowing, trimming, painting, power washing.
- Collect and dispose of trash and recyclable items.
- Take receipt of supplies and other items and store and deliver these items to the appropriate persons or areas.
- Summer maintenance workers may be required to fill in at other CCIU locations as required.
- M-F daytime work.
- Evenings and weekends off.
- Ability to schedule off for summer vacation with family.
