At the present time, vacancies exist for Summer Student Support Specialists exist for MEP school-based campus in Chester County within the Migrant Education Program (MEP), Student Services Division of the CCIU. These positions will work with migrant children in the Chesco area.02/20/2025

Qualifications:
1. Implement Migrant Education Summer Program for preschool, elementary, and/or secondary migrant students in Philadelphia, Delaware, Montgomery, and Bucks Counties.
2. Facilitate reading, writing, speaking, and listening learning across the content areas with migrant students in a classroom setting
3. Submit weekly lesson plans, implement curriculum as provided, and submit end-of-summer progress reports
4. Provide regular communication with Migrant Education Program staff and families
5. Attend summer in-service, family meetings, and weekly staff meetings

Estimated Schedule:
Monday – Thursday, 6 hours/day (8:30 AM - 3:00 PM)
Prep Day: June 16th
Program Dates: June 23rd - July 24th
Hourly Rates (2024-2025 SY):
Project Band 13: $29.70 - $37.13 per hour
*Placement on scale commesurate with years of experience in a relevant position*
