Summary
The Mail Ballots/Central Scan Supervisor is responsible for ensuring accurate mail-in/absentee ballot implementation and distribution, supervising and troubleshooting Central Scan processes and resolving issues and provide support to the Director and Deputy Director as needed.
Essential Duties
- Coordinate and supervise central scan operations.
- Assist in supervising and organizing mail-in/absentee ballot operations, maintaining integrity in the election process and ensuring that all mandated deadlines are met.
- Compile information and format reports, graphs, tables, records and other sources of information as needed by the department.
- Collaborate with Elections Supervisor for continuity of operations.
- Provide Voter Services management with reports and information as requested and on a timely basis to ensure that appropriate decisions can be made.
- Serve as a point of contact for visitors and vendors requesting information.
- Collaborate with other departments as needed to ensure efficient and effective organization of central scan operations.
- Maintain various databases and ensure integrity of information.
- Become cross-trained on other hardware/software job functions.
- Perform other duties, tasks and special projects, as assigned.

Qualifications / Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree program from an accredited college or university, or combination of education and experience.
- Minimum of 3 years of general office experience.
- Intermediate to Advanced computer knowledge and skills
- Must have excellent time managment skills.
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to handle and resolve recurring problems.
- Strong ability to manage, lead and work within a team structure.
- Must have a valid driver’s license.
- Strong interpersonal and direct communication skills.
- Ability to express ideas succinctly.
