This position is considered Safety Sensitive and is subject to random drug and alcohol testing.
Process 56 and 40-hour payroll to include analyzing, verifying and auditing hours entered into an automated payroll system (Telestaff); reconcile hours in Telestaff against hours in the bridge to Payroll; convert payroll files to pass through the Telestaff bridge accurately and timely; audit and import accrual files into Telestaff; track all leave and maintain accurate balances for Fire and EMS personnel; track military leave according to USERRA guidelines; assist in tracking workers compensation and FMLA leave, as well as coordinating light duty employees' work schedules. Manage inventory and order supplies for eight divisions; daily processing of correction forms; process memorandums to payroll adjusting salary, leave and work codes; weekly leave report; serve as backup to process and reconcile purchasing card statements in an automated web based accounting system (Central Square); serve as backup and/or assist the Accountant with data entry for reimbursement requests, invoice payments and purchase requisitions through Central Square. Perform other work as required.
