We are seeking a dedicated Behavioral Health Juvenile Justice Coordinator to lead and oversee the behavioral health juvenile justice programs in St. Clair and Madison Counties. This role is instrumental in ensuring effective program implementation, staff supervision, and collaboration with court officials, juvenile justice entities, and community partners. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, experience in human services, and a passion for supporting youth involved in the justice system. This position will be based in Granite City or Belleville, IL.

The anticipated starting pay for new hires for this position is between $49,000 - $55,000 annual salary. There are several factors taken into consideration in determining base pay, including but not limited to: job-related qualifications, skills, education, experience, local market conditions, and internal equity. - Oversee and manage all aspects of behavioral health juvenile justice programs in St. Clair and Madison Counties.
- Ensure timely and accurate completion of program data, reports, juvenile assistance funds tracking, and documentation, including uploads into the State database.
- Develop and maintain an efficient referral process for services.
- Ensure services are provided and monitored with fidelity to evidence-based models and deliver an assigned level of services to juveniles, their families, and community partners.
- Lead, support, and reinforce recovery-oriented and trauma-informed care principles, and harm reduction.
- Provide leadership and mentorship to staff, fostering a culture of collaboration and excellence in service delivery.
- Act as a liaison with juveniles, families, court officials, and juvenile justice entities to resolve program issues and improve outcomes.
- Hire, train, supervise, and evaluate staff, interns, and volunteers to ensure competency and professional growth.
- Attend and facilitate meetings, juvenile staffings, and program development activities.
- Ensure compliance with required supervision meetings and training.
- Safeguard confidentiality and perform other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor’s degree and five years of mental health experience. OR
- Master’s degree in a social service-related field.
- Previous supervisory experience preferred.
- Valid driver’s license, private automobile insurance, and insurability.
- Basic computer skills, including proficiency in MS Word, email, videoconferencing, and electronic medical records (EMR).
