Description of the Role The parts counterperson at Chevrolet GMC of Corsicana plays a vital role in ensuring smooth
operations of the parts department. They will be responsible for customer service, inventory
management, and providing accurate and timely information to internal and external customers.
Responsibilities - Greet and assist customers in finding the right parts for their vehicles- Provide exceptional customer service by answering inquiries, resolving issues, and processing part
orders- Maintain accurate records of inventory, including receiving, stocking, and organizing parts- Collaborate with the service department to ensure timely delivery of parts to technicians- Stay updated on the latest parts and accessories for Chevrolet and GMC models- Help customers in locating and ordering parts not currently in stock- Process warranty claims and returns accurately and efficiently- Maintain a clean and organized parts counter and storage area- Adhere to safety guidelines and company policies
Requirements : - High school diploma or equivalent- Previous experience in a parts counterperson role or similar position is preferred- Strong knowledge of automotive parts and their functions- Excellent customer service skills and the ability to communicate effectively- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and multitasking abilities- Proficient computer skills, including experience with inventory management systems- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple priorities- Willingness to learn and adapt to changing technologies and procedures- Valid driver's license

Compensation
45,000 to $80,000 / year, based on your experience and track record
