Position Summary:
As a Parts Counter Salesperson, you will assist customers and service technicians in locating and purchasing the correct automotive parts. Your role will be crucial in maintaining an efficient and well-stocked parts department while ensuring excellent customer service.

Responsibilities:
- Assist customers and service technicians in identifying and selecting the correct vehicle parts.
- Look up part numbers and availability in the inventory system.
- Process parts sales transactions and provide accurate pricing and estimates.
- Maintain an organized and well-stocked parts inventory.
- Place orders for out-of-stock or special-order parts as needed.
- Receive and inspect incoming shipments of parts, ensuring accuracy and quality.
- Provide knowledgeable advice on parts compatibility and vehicle applications.
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve any parts-related concerns in a professional manner.
- Work closely with the service and sales departments to fulfill internal parts needs.
- Previous experience in the automotive parts department or retail parts sales preferred.
- Strong knowledge of automotive parts and systems.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency with inventory and point-of-sale software.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to lift/move heavy parts when necessary.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Must be willing to submit to a drug screen prior to employment.
