Key Responsibilities:
- Partner with operations, engineering, legal, and maintenance teams to implement safety engineering evaluations and risk control programs.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and develop safety protocols.
- Provide training and guidance to team members.
- Lead risk assessments and assist in the development and review of equipment designs.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A bachelor's degree in mechanical, structural, electrical, or industrial engineering, or a related field.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in safety engineering, preferably in a warehousing, corporate, and medical practice setting.
- Strong knowledge of industrial hygiene regulations, standards, and best practices.
- Knowledge of International and Standards such as ISO, ANSI, OSHA, NFPA.
- Comprehension, program creation, and practical application of Combustible dust sampling, pharmaceutical dust sampling.
- A thorough understanding and knowledge of 503b compounding pharmacy operations, lab equipment, air sampling, and cabinet certification.
- Ability to analyze drawings to mitigate future risk in complex operations.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
