Chewy is looking for a Senior Creative Manager to join our Creative Services Team in Plantation, FL and/or Boston, MA! This role is central to building and driving innovative, customer-centric creative that supports Chewy’s key growth drivers: Product Marketing (with a focus on Loyalty, App, and Autoship) and Private Brands (including brand identity,packaging, and go-to-market campaigns). You will partner closely with business collaborators and creative leaders to deliver well-rounded, data-driven creative solutions across a variety of touchpoints. You’ll be responsible for leading planning, end-to-end creative strategy, and execution with your creative leaders and cross-functional partners—translating business objectives into compelling brand narratives and scalable marketing assets. You will define client engagements for complex cross-functional programs, prioritizing multiple projects from start to finish. What You'll Do
- Lead creative strategy and execution across priority initiatives including:
- Product Marketing: Loyalty program campaigns, app adoption and engagement journeys, Autoship awareness and retention efforts.
- Private Brands: New brand development, packaging design, product launch campaigns, and brand storytelling across channels.
- Serve as the primary creative point of contact for business owners and marketers; cultivate relationships with cross-functional partners to ensure creative outcomes meet strategic goals.
- Develop and communicate creative approaches that align with the customer journey and influence behavior across acquisition, engagement, and retention touchpoints.
- Translate briefs into clear and actionable creative strategies across owned and paid channels: TV/OTT, Social, Display, Direct Mail, Email, Web, SMS, and In-App.
- Guide creative performance measurement in partnership with analytics, ensuring all work ties back to defined business critical metrics and performance insights.
- Lead and encourage internal and external creative teams, ensuring outstanding execution while staying on time and within scope.
- Champion consistent brand and visual language across all customer touchpoints for both Chewy and Private Brands.
- Be a strong voice in senior-level discussions, helping shape marketing strategies and defending the integrity and impact of creative work.
- Partner with Project Management on timelines and scopes ensuring clarity, alignment, and timely delivery across multiple simultaneous projects.
- Communicate risks and tradeoffs proactively and drive solutions that balance business needs with creative perfection.
- Foster a collaborative, inclusive, and high-performing creative culture that attracts and retains top talent.
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, or related field.
- 6 years of experience within an agency or marketing department, preferably within eCommerce and/or retail
- Proven ability to lead large, cross-functional creative initiatives from concept to execution
- Demonstrated success in developing and bringing products to market, whether campaigns for customer lifecycle marketing (e.g., loyalty, app, retention) and/or brand-building initiatives (e.g., packaging, product launches)
- Strong partner management and communication skills; capable of influencing at all levels
- Customer-centric and data-driven
- Deep knowledge of multi-channel marketing and brand development standard processes
- Ability to lead multiple projects and priorities with precision and grace under pressure
- Be adaptable to a fast-growing, changing environment; this role will work closely with multiple departments and leaders at all levels
- Be organized, forward-looking, meticulous, and proactive
