Role Overview
The Commercial and Consumer Loan Processor plays a critical role in our loan operations team, responsible for processing and managing loan applications from origination to closing. This position requires strong organizational and communication skills, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities
- Process and review loan applications to ensure completeness and accuracy.
- Communicate with borrowers and third-party vendors to facilitate loan closings.
- Prepare and submit loan documentation for review.
- Maintain accurate records and track loan progress.
- Provide administrative support to loan officers and management.
- Provide customer support for business and loan customers.
- Open commercial and consumer checking and savings accounts when required.
- Generate and review daily, weekly, and monthly loan team reports.
Requirements
To be considered for this role, you must have:
- A minimum of 2 years in loan processing, banking, or a related field.
- At least 1 year of loan processing experience.
- Strong knowledge of commercial and consumer loan products and regulations.
- Proficiency in loan processing software and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a deadline-driven environment.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
