We are seeking a Front of House Squad Member to join our dynamic team. As a Front of House Squad Member of CHI FAN, you will play a crucial role in providing excellent customer service and ensuring a positive experience for our guests. Key Requirements:
- Great Customer Service: Greet and wish a good day to everyone who comes in. Provide exceptional and courteous service with a smile.
- Order Management: Accurately manage and process customer orders with attention to detail.
- Food Preparation: Experience in preparing poke bowls and boba teas is preferred. Training will be provided for candidates without prior experience.
- Packaging: Ensure orders are packaged neatly and accurately, maintaining presentation standards.
- Multi-tasking: Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail and quality.
- Flexibility: Willingness to assist with various side tasks as needed to support the overall operation of the establishment.
- Wok Cooking (Optional): Experience in using a wok is a plus, but not required. Candidates with this skill will be given special consideration.
We offer an annual bonus of up to $1000 and these are the requirements of receiving that bonus.
*Minimum one shift per week unless you notify a manager in advance about vacations, school-related matters, or emergencies
* Excellent Customer Service (e.g., checking up on guests)
* Minimum to No Tardiness
* Strong Work Ethic (keeping everything stocked, good communication, etc.)
* Proper Hygiene (washing hands frequently, keeping the restaurant clean—tables, windows, floors, fridges, etc.)
* No Phone Usage on Shift (unless it’s an emergency)
* Cooperation with Other Team Members (e.g., prioritizing tasks and stations)
* Quality Control (ensure everything is in stock and replacing what’s taken from the fridge)
* Flexible Schedules (Open availability and picking up extra shifts)
* Keeping Yourself Occupied
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in customer service or food service roles preferred but not required.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills.
- Team player with a positive attitude.
- Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
