Position Overview
The Chicago Bulls are seeking a dedicated, meticulous, and dynamic individual to fill the position of Entertainment Manager. This person is responsible for the day-to-day administration, content and production-related aspects of the Bulls Entertainment teams to support the overall Game Entertainment and Content strategy. The ideal candidate loves the adrenaline of live events, and would be available to work nights, weekends, and select holidays all year round.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Under the direction of Executive Director of Entertainment & Events, implement the creative vision and entertainment strategy for each team (story, choreography, costuming, production concepts, etc.) and ultimately bring to life with the team of Coaches/Captains, freelance choreographers, costume/prop vendors and performers.
- Handle all office administration, including, but not limited to: human resource paperwork (new hire, background checks, employment agreements, NBA waivers, rules and regulations, contact sheets, etc.), game scheduling, payroll, invoice processing, budget tracking, as well as choreographer bookings, contracts, travel and logistics.
- Produce, promote and conduct Summer auditions to select the best talent possible each season.
- Work with Coaches to build monthly performer game rotation, rehearsal schedules and music schedule, as well as handle all logistics on game days and team appearances, including catering, parking, costuming/props, tickets, travel, etc.
- Supervise Athletic Trainers, order annual equipment and supply inventory and file worker’s compensation claims.
- Manage Costume Coordinator to track all costumes and prop distribution through our inventory software, Sortly. Build costume information sheets with apparel and costume sizes, shoe orders, etc. Research, procure, organize, and ship out costumes/apparel to vendors for cleaning/repair.
- Serve as the Entertainment Tunnel stage manager on game nights and build game-day one-sheeters for performers with all relevant assignments (pre-game stations, live shots, contests, etc.).
- Align with the Digital Team on strategy and lead scheduling and composing social media posts on both @chicagoluvabulls and @bullsentertainment accounts and send content updates for each team’s website, etc.
- Work closely with Partnership Marketing to conceptualize, pitch and keep track of all partnership and social media obligations.
- Work with Windy City Bulls Manager of Game Production to schedule teams to perform at G-League games in Hoffman Estates, IL. Attend select Windy City Bulls games as needed throughout the season.
- Attend weekly Bulls Game Entertainment meetings and collaborate with the entire department when needed. Provide production support at select team events, particularly with Entertainment Team appearances.
- Assist with planning annual Bulls Entertainment orientation meeting and end-of-season party.
- Maintain the highest level of integrity when representing the Chicago Bulls, United Center and team partners.
Qualifications
- A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in sports, entertainment or events related field
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Ability to exhibit strong work ethic
- Previous experience working in an administrative role with, or participating in dance or cheer teams, studios or competitions
- Familiarity with scheduling and onboarding performers
- Outstanding organizational skills and the ability to prioritize and multi-task
- Excellent presentation and interpersonal skills (both written and verbal) with the ability to articulate ideas both within the team and with other partners
- Knowledge of sports, game presentation, and basketball a plus
Office Scope
- Flexible office hours with option to work remotely 1-2 days per week. Must attend game-day Production Meetings (11am) and weekly Bulls Entertainment department meetings on Tuesdays (11am) in person.
- Serve as stage manager for 3 preseason games 41 regular season home games additional Playoff games
- Any additional necessary rehearsals for collaborative halftime productions, local/international team appearances, content shoots, Playoff games, etc.
- Lead select appearances that require special performances, including Chicago Bulls Events produced by the Entertainment Department (NBA Draft Party, Lollapalooza, NBA All-Star 2020, etc.)
