Job Summary:

The Director of Program Performance works in close collaboration with other Program Directors and is responsible for advancing program-related organizational change efforts, identifying, and implementing systems improvements, and shaping strategic focus for the Programs team. This role leads a collaborative effort to devise, install and continually update performance and quality improvement systems, oversees the process of organizing and coordinating all performance and quality improvement (PQI) activities, including development of outcome and performance measures and their incorporation into an integrated model, the consolidation of review of outcomes at all levels, including management outcomes, client outcomes, and measures of program and service delivery effectiveness. This position will lead the process of preparing required PQI documentation.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop, oversee, and maintain all performance and quality improvement (PQI) initiatives, models, practices, and related materials for The Partnership.
  • Develop and implement The Partnership 's PQI Plan.
  • Lead the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) process for The Partnership.
  • Design and develop PQI procedure, protocols and documentation for all programs and support functions.
  • Coordinate the PQI Plan, which defines overarching long-term and short-term PQI goals, including those that are active at any given time, and assigns responsibility for different elements and tasks required by the PQI plan.
  • Develop, maintain, and distribute the PQI Manual, which will include PQI policies, procedures, protocols, and PQI related documentation forms.
  • Implementation of an annual evaluation of the PQI program.
  • Establish and oversee systems to produce outcome reports for all programs. Analyze performance/outcomes data and charts against defined parameters, benchmarks, and contract requirements.
  • Oversee and maintain monthly dashboard report and disseminate to appropriate departments and staff.
  • Work with the communications department to regularly share outcomes and impacts to external audiences.
  • Use valid and reliable data collection methods to measure outputs, outcomes, and progress toward performance targets.
  • Support writing grants and donor proposals, by providing metrics and forecasting impact, in conjunction with the development staff.
  • Assist in the surveying of agency stakeholders to determine satisfaction with services.
  • Perform all related duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Economics, Statistics, Business Administration, Non-Profit Administration, or a related field; OR a minimum of 15 years of related experience
  • Understanding of nonprofit operations through professional or volunteer experience required.
  • Demonstrated skills designing and improving systems.
  • Demonstrated skills gathering and analyzing organizational data to assess effectiveness.
  • Experience leading organizational change efforts strongly preferred.
  • Direct staff supervision experience.
  • Strong leadership and management competencies including the ability to unite diverse teams under a clear vision and strategy, and effectively collaborate with leadership, peers, and colleagues.

Salary : $143,200 - $173,800
