Job Overview
We are seeking a full-time Desktop Support Analyst to assist with day-to-day Support operations. The ideal candidate will be a well-organized, highly motivated self-starter that is capable of properly prioritizing their workload and delivering viable solutions in a timely manner. The position may require occasional weekend work, as is necessary to support our user base, correct system abnormalities, or deploy new technologies.
Responsibilities
- Provides in-person or telephone-based technical support on a variety of hardware and software platforms to local and remote clients.
- Troubleshoots and resolves hardware and software issues
- Services and supports the desktop computing environment including installation, upgrading, repair, replacement, and warranty fulfillment of software and hardware systems.
- Ensures that all required documentation is kept current, and that all incidents are logged in the company's ticketing system.
- Responds to email, telephone, and trouble ticket submissions in a timely and courteous manner.
- Conducts preventative maintenance on hardware and software systems
- Conducts employee training as necessary
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Some college preferred
- 1-2 years of Desktop Support experience
- Experience with Windows 10/11 Operating Systems
- Experience with all versions of Microsoft Office
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent problem solving and critical thinking skills
- Excellent customer service skills and a friendly demeanor
- Must be able to effectively prioritize and manage workload
- Self-starter - able to work with minimal supervision
