As a Trading Applications Support Analyst, you will provide:
- Troubleshooting & Incident Resolution: Diagnose and resolve time sensitive technical issues related to trade execution, connectivity, and system functionality.
- User Support: Provide direct support to traders and front-office personnel, addressing real-time trading system issues or inquiries.
- System Monitoring & Maintenance: Monitor trading systems for performance issues, ensuring minimal downtime and quick issue resolution.
- Collaborating with Developers & Vendors: Work with development teams and external vendors to escalate complex issues, perform system upgrades, and enhance functionality.
Requirements:
- 2 years experience supporting front office operations.
- Knowledge of futures, options, and derivatives.
- Hands-on experience with SQL and Python.
- Expertise with version control (Git, CI/CD).
- Strong knowledge of trading platforms and OMS/EMS (Order Management Systems/Execution Management Systems).
- Strong understanding and practical application of the FIX protocol.
- Troubleshooting and incident management expertise.
- This is an onsite position working at the client’s Chicago office.
