Position Summary

Primary trade and technical support resource during APAC and EMEA trading hours (8:00PM to 4:00AM Central).  First-line responder covering trading in global securities via our proprietary platform for international clients in a fast-paced and rapidly growing environment.  This position will be mainly remote, but a hybrid work schedule may be occasionally necessary.


Responsibilities
  • Provide 1st level, comprehensive support to trading application users
  • Handle support requests via phone, email and direct messaging, with an emphasis on timely response
  • Create, modify, and maintain user logins and account configurations within WEX systems
  • Act as primary resource for platform support bridging US/APAC/EMEA market hours and oversee a daily handoff to UK-based support staff
  • Work with vendors (Exchanges, ECNs, etc.) to resolve production issues
  • Occasionally work with developers to improve software and troubleshoot problems
  • Maintain documentation of support processes, ongoing technical issues, and workarounds
  • Work on special projects as necessary


Qualifications
  • Must have proven ability to manage multiple tasks effectively
  • Must have excellent customer support and communication skills
  • Must have an understanding of trading industry concepts and terminology
  • Prior experience supporting APAC and/or EMEA marketplaces and listed securities strongly preferred
  • Troubleshooting experience in financial trading applications, such as Reuters, TT, PATS, Bloomberg, and GL Trade
  • Need to be very comfortable working independently, with limited opportunities for real-time collaboration with other support staff
  • Self-motivated, decisive, energetic and results oriented
