Chicago Marriott Northwest, nestled in the northwest suburbs off I90 Toll Road and Barrington Road, just 30 minutes outside of Chicago. Our hotel is the perfect work-home away from home base for suburban, urban and even farm country dwellers.

Our Company Overview

At Chicago Marriott Northwest, as our Shuttle Bus Driver, you will be responsible for our luggage assistance and standard shuttle service for all guests while providing guests with personalized service, special comforts and acts of kindness that make the traveler feel human again. You will be responsible for transporting guests to and from the local destinations as well as occasionally complete runs to local attractions, special events or promotions at our hotel. Must be friendly and will assist front desk agents as needed.

Shuttle Bus Driver - Key Responsibilities

Chicago Marriott Northwest is looking for a highly motivated team players with a valid Commercial Drivers License (CDL) to join our Guest Services team as a Hotel Shuttle Bus Driver. The ideal candidate uses their engaging personality to create a memorable first impression for our guests as they arrive for the first time and throughout their stay. In offering a warm welcome to our hotel, the Shuttle Bus Driver assists guests by providing them transportation as requested in the local area. They will serve as source of knowledge for the guest for everything about the hotel, its amenities, and the local area. • Help guests discover their “Wanderlust” experience
• Provide exceptional customer service by being engaging and taking sincere interest
• Interacts with all guests. The Shuttle Bus Driver will welcome all guests to their vehicle, opening doors as needed and assisting with any bags.
• You will be knowledgeable of the local area and the traffic patterns and directions to commonly visited attractions/restaurants
• You will offer up recommendations of other areas of interest
• You will maintain the cleanliness and operation of the shuttle, reporting any problems that need attention to the manager
• You will assist guests in securing other forms of transportation as needed
• You will be working together with other attendants to ensure each guest has a personalized experience and will “dive" to open the door for all guests.
• Assist lobby attendant in keeping entrance area clean and organized
• "Be the difference" with all guest and employees and do more than just “the norm".
• Always use the LEARN Marriott standard.
• Other duties as assigned.

Shuttle Bus Driver - Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalency required.
• Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL)
• Excellent cartography and topography knowledge (local map skills)
• Customer service past work experience preferred

Shuttle Bus Driver - Requirements:

• Valid Class A CDL or commercial driver license
• Current TWIC card
• Able to pass drug and alcohol test
• Able to pass a Motor Vehicle Record for CDL
• Able to pass a Medical Certificate fit for work

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $18.00 - $30.00 per hour
