Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Run route from the University's main Campus to various off campus sites, housing, parking lots, and classroom facilities.
- Route assignments and hours subject to change.
- Become knowledgeable of all Public Safety and University policies and procedures.
- Maintain a courteous and pleasant environment and a well-groomed appearance.
- Be prepared to function accordingly based upon the needs of the department.
- Perform other related duties as requested

- High school diploma or GED.
- Must maintain a valid driver's license with a goo9d driving record. (Must provide a court purpose driver's license abstract with application).
- Possession of a Commercial Driver's license with a passenger endorsement is required.
- Must pass a background check.
- Applicants must pass the IDOT Medical Examination and maintain an IDOT Medical Card.
- Must be physically fit and possess the manual dexterity to assist handicapped riders and operate a vehicle's wheel chair lift.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
