Key Responsibilities

  • Selling trimmings to further processors
  • Selling whole muscle meat as an ingredient to further processors
  • Selling commodity fresh and frozen meat to exporters
  • Identify and create new business opportunities
  • Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients

 

What We Want From You

 

  • Ability to call cold and prospect new business
  • Experience in commodity-based selling
  • Strong networking skills, including a passion for meeting people and for relationship building that deliver strategic results
  • Ability to prioritize and multi-task, organizing own workload to maintain high quality and output while achieving set deadlines and targets
  • Perform as an aggressive self-starter with high energy level and strong work ethic
  • Leads with integrity, is reliable, trustworthy, mature and self-confident
  • Excellent analytical, organizational and problem-solving skills
  • Superior interpersonal and communication skills
  • Meat sales experience
  • Bachelor’s degree or successful sales prospecting, sales development and account management experience
  • Proficient with PCs and office software
