CPS employs over 4,000 substitute teachers and substitute paraprofessional positions per school year and is continuously looking to fill an average of 950 vacancies per day. The work of the Substitute Recruitment Team is to source, recruit, vet and hire qualified substitutes to meet the needs of our students and our schools.
The Part-Time / Seasonal HR Support position will be held accountable for the following responsibilities :
- Create spreadsheets, flowcharts and graphs to provide needed data related to the hiring process
- Investigate / research situation to answer emails from candidates
- Screen applicants daily and move candidates through Taleo
- Assist with the implementation of job fairs, interview events, special projects and provide support as needed
- Assist with setting up interviews
- File and maintain evaluation forms
- Perform additional responsibilities as required towards the achievement of department or CPS objectives
