SPORT MANAGEMENT INTERNSHIP

General Description
League Officials are the referees for Chicago Sport and Social Club sports games. They must have an extensive knowledge of the rules and regulations for their assigned sport(s) and are responsible for officiating Chicago Sport and Social sports games.
Duties And Responsibilities

• Assist in set up and clean up of equipment and facilities
• Be knowledgeable of all Chicago Sport and Social officiating rules and playing guidelines for assigned sport(s) along with SLOA
  

(Sports League Officials Association ) rules

• Attend regularly scheduled staff meetings and training
• Make fair and consistent calls
• Be respectful and professional when dealing with participants and fellow staff
• Come prepared to all games with proper equipment and attire
  

Intramural/Recreational Sports Experience Required.
