What are the responsibilities and job description for the Escrow Assistant position at Chicago Title of Washington?
PURPOSE:
Support and assist the Escrow Officer throughout closing of residential real estate transactions within the greater Seattle Area- Seattle, Northgate, Bellevue and Tacoma.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
The primary responsibilities of the Escrow Assistant are to coordinate each transaction from start to close in partnership with the Escrow Officer. This includes opening orders, distributing title commitments/reports as well as clearing title matters. The Escrow Assistant shall assist with preparation of closing documents specific to the transaction and disbursement of all closing funds. The position requires daily customer contact via phone and email, with the utmost focus on customer service. The role of Escrow Assistant is fast paced and includes handling multiple files at once.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Six months or more experience in Title and Escrow.
- TECHNICAL SKILLS
- Proficiency in MS Office and Windows
- SoftPro experience is a plus
- Aptitude with numbers
