The Operations Manager is responsible for directing the restaurant's daily operations, ensuring compliance with company standards in all areas of operations, and ensuring the highest quality products and services are delivered to our guests. The Operations Manager also provides leadership and direction to 15-25 team members working each shift. Our Operations Managers are experts in all areas of our operation, including cashiering, expediting, drive-thru, dining room service, food safety, checking temps and time on all food. They also are responsible for cash handling, processing catering orders, and resolving guest issues or concerns. Ideal candidates will be confident in their leadership ability, familiar with leading a team, and have a proven record of great leadership and customer service.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the day-to-day operations of the shift, including the Dining Room, Drive-Thru, carry-out business, kitchen operations, and/or catering.
  • Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Provide top-notch customer service and demonstrated care to our guests
  • Set the example for our team members
  • Create and execute training plans for new team members
  • Conflict resolution skills and ability to make things right for guests who experience problems
  • Work with our executive leadership team to manage a cohesive shift
  • Mastery of knowledge and skill of team member positions throughout the kitchen, including breading and cooking chicken, assembling sandwiches, and prep work.
  • Knowledge and understanding of Food Safety requirements (ServSafe)
  • Ensuring compliance with Chick-Fil-A North Haven standards in all areas of operation
  • Ensuring the highest quality food and services are delivered to our guests
  • Be a role model for all North Haven team members regarding customer care, cleanliness, organization, and personal accountability
  • Promote a safe and productive work atmosphere

Required Qualifications & Experience

  • Must be at least 21 years old to apply
  • Have completed a four-year degree and/or have relevant leadership experience in a fast-paced, high volume kitchen
  • Demonstrated past leadership experience
  • Ability to coach, motivate and lead other team members
  • Desire to grow business and personal skills while thriving in a fast-paced environment
  • Eagerness to learn and improve personal skillset and assist others in the same effort
  • Ability to communicate and collaborate with Team Members, Team Leaders, Directors, and Operator to fulfill business needs
  • Positive attitude and customer service mindset

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $22.00 - $26.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
