Job Summary:
As a Front of House Team Member in a multi-role capacity, you will work across different areas of the front of house, contributing to various positions such as cashier, order taker, dining room host, drive-thru associate, and more. You will be responsible for delivering friendly and efficient service, maintaining a clean and welcoming environment while supporting the team to ensure a smooth, fast-paced operation. Your flexibility, strong communication, and teamwork skills will be key in this role.
Key Responsibilities
Cashier/Order Taker:
- Greet guests with a positive and friendly attitude as they approach the counter or drive-thru (including outside - must be okay with fluctuating weather conditions.
- Accurately take customer orders, offering menu suggestions, upsells, and ensuring clear communication about special requests or dietary needs.
- Process payments quickly and efficiently, providing guests with correct change and receipts.
- Stay knowledgeable about menu offerings, new items, and promotions to offer the best service.
Dining Room Host:
- Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including wiping down tables, restocking condiments, taking out trash, sweeping & mopping floors.
- Help guests find seating, ensure their needs are met during their meal, and provide a welcoming atmosphere.
- Engage with guests to ensure satisfaction, resolve any concerns promptly, and offer assistance as needed.
- Maintain cleanliness of the restrooms and children's play area
- Assist team in delivering food to the appropriate guest(s)
Drive-Thru Associate:
- Take and fulfill drive-thru orders efficiently while maintaining a friendly, upbeat tone.
- Hand off food and drinks to guests, ensuring accuracy and quality.
- Maintain cleanliness of the drive-thru area, ensuring a positive experience for customers in their vehicles.
Team Collaboration:
- Work as a team player by assisting co-workers in other areas as needed, supporting a smooth and efficient operation.
- Communicate effectively with kitchen and front-of-house staff to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment.
- Adapt to different roles within the front of house, switching between positions based on the needs of the restaurant.
General:
- Follow all Chick-fil-A procedures for food safety, cleanliness, and customer service.
- Stay organized and focused while managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Maintain a positive, courteous, and professional demeanor with both customers and fellow team members.
