Daytime shifts at Chick-fil-A Lee's Summit (part time)

What hours can I work?

• Right now we are looking for people who would like to work during the day between the hours of 5:30am and 3:30pm
• We have flexibility with start and end times
• We have flexibility with which days of the week
• Some Saturdays are required (not every Saturday)
• We are closed EVERY Sunday, so you can count on that day off every week
• We allow our people to ask for specific Saturdays off

What rate of pay is available?

We start our adult workers at a higher rate than our teens. Pay rate depends on your experience AND availability - those willing to work the hours that we need help the most are paid a higher rate. Starting rate of pay may be negotiable for adults with leadership / management experience.

POSITIONS AVAILABLE

Two teams work together to make Chick-fil-A a terrific dining experience for our guests:

"Heart of the House Team" (behind the scenes team) RIGHT NOW has 2 openings.

This team is for people who enjoy working with their hands closely with a small group of people working together “behind the scenes” in our kitchen. We have terrific team mates and a respectful, fast-paced environment. These roles do have physical demands (lifting, bending, reaching, etc.) so if you enjoy being "hands on" and using your physicality while working you'll love working on this team! We have 9 positions in our kitchen and everyone learns all positions so we can rotate around throughout the shift. It's more fun than doing the same thing all shift and it also supports our teamwork mindset and support for one another.

Front of the House Team (hospitality team) NOTE: Today we do not have any roles open for Team Member but we WILL have some come open in April. Check our website then for job postings for this team. This team is for those who love engaging new people, listening well, quickly serving them with patience and kindness, and lifting someone's spirits who may be a bit down with Chick-fil-A's unique style of hospitality. All of our hospitality team members rotate to the roles in our drive thru, so working outside in the heat, cold and rain is part of serving our guests in the drive thru with a personal touch.

Our grooming standards include these guidelines:

- beards must be TRIMMED and neat - no long or scruffy beards

- no gemstones or press-on fake nails may be worn while working (a food safety issue)

- no rainbow colored hair (no blue, green, purple, pink, etc.)

- no tattoos on the face or neck (elsewhere is ok)

Responsibilities

• Assist in daily operations by providing excellent customer service and maintaining a clean environment.
• Participate in ensuring an efficient workflow and high-quality service.
• Communicate effectively with staff and management to address any issues or concerns.
• Maintain inventory and supplies to ensure readiness for peak hours.
• Uphold Chick-fil-A's standards and values in every interaction with customers and team members.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $14.33 - $18.48 per hour

Expected hours: 15 – 35 per week
