Chick-fil-A Lee's Summit is building a second store!
We will have two Chick-fil-A's in Lee's Summit, both owned by the same Owner / Operator, the second one set to open this fall, around October. We are building our leadership team for the new store now.

Qualifications:
- Leadership skills and desire. Students who want to contribute their leadership experience in our environment to be part of what we do at Chick-fil-A.
- Strong interpersonal and relationship skills. Diplomacy, camaraderie, sense of humor and grace are necessary people skills to be a leader in our business.
- Lead by example. You set a good example for others to follow. You have the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also demonstrating leadership capabilities and accountabilities to positively influence the business aspects of the operation.
- Excellent communication skills. You must be able to effectively communicate with clarity, kindness and professionalism. Spanish language skills are a big plus but not required.
- Very strong character. We look forward to hearing from your work and school references that you are honest, reliable, trustworthy and are very enjoyable to work with.
Responsibilities of a Team Leader (once you've completed the full training program):
- Lead and mentor a team through their shift to ensure high standards of operational excellence are met. We have Directors who provide significant management and leadership support, guidance and Chick-fil-A knowledge to support our Team Leaders.
- Implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness in service delivery.
- Train staff on best practices in customer service, sanitation, and food safety.
- Develop team members' leadership skills.
- Monitor team performance and provide constructive feedback to promote continuous improvement and look for team members ready for additional responsibilities.
- Collaborate with management to develop strategies for increasing sales and enhancing customer experiences. This role will collaborate with other leaders for operational & customer service excellence.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations while maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards. We have the highest food safety rating, and our guests depend on that when they dine with us.
A note on compensation and opportunity: The pay range listed is the starting pay rate. Pay increases are available at various milestones in the training program over the next several months with the goal of being a Team Leader for the new store. We promote from within to fill our higher leadership roles. It is from the Team Leaders that we fill our Director and Executive Director roles as they become available.
