Description:
- Works together with the other restaurant leaders in order to accomplish the Owner/Operator’s vision for the restaurant.
- Works closely in assisting the general manager.
- This position oversees all Human Resource relations with the current team and any existing applicants.
- Approximately 30 hours of HR work weekly. The candidate is required to work additional hours in the food service operation, hospitality or kitchen. This is NOT a remote position.
- Significant personal and professional GROWTH OPPORTUNITY in this position.
- Requires previous HR experience.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee ATS platform - daily reading and organizing applications, responding to every new applicant within 24 hours
- Account monitoring - organize and maintain our Trello boards, Calendly interview slots, and Google Calendar events
- Interviews - conducting screening and in-person interviews as necessary
- Handling New Hires - conducting hiring calls, making job offers, understanding pay structure, effectively communicating next steps
- Orientation - planning, preparing, and clearly executing an orientation for new hires, understanding restaurant policies, procedures, and culture
- Business reporting - ad hoc tracking and reporting
- Email monitoring - respond to new applicants, current team members, and Chick-fil-A corporate
- Restaurant operations - as above, potential to work in restaurant operations, serving our guests and team
- Depending on how the position is tailored to the candidate, there may be work/ requests outside of the schedule - being required to work from home, come to the restaurant, answer calls, or complete urgent requests beyond the schedule
