Hours: 8am - 4:30pm or 8am - 12:00

Position Summary

We teach by modeling kindness through creative play. Your focus will be on developmentally appropriate education that emphasizes emotional, physical, and spiritual health. These activities will occur within a safe, supportive environment where children can explore, build, and apply new skills.

Responsibilities

• Team collaboration for children to thrive
• Diaper changes / Helping with Potty
• Support your Lead Teacher by facilitating lunch, snacks, and other activities
• Cultivate close working relationships with families to encourage open communication and engagement.
• Create a safe, kind, and loving Care environment.

Requirements

• You love working with young children
• You are committed to each child individually
• You are adept at developing creative, lively, and interactive activities
• You are patient, warm, caring, and loving
• You must be physically able to lift up to 30 pounds and assume low-level postures to interact with children appropriately (you must be able to interact at “their level” every day, all day)
• You are CPR and First Aid Certified or willingness to obtain (we can help arrange this for you)

Education & Experience BS/BA degree in Early Childhood Education preferred but not required, OR AA/AS degree in Early Childhood Education or related field, OR Child Development Associate (CDA)

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour

Education:

• High school or equivalent (Required)

Experience:

• Teaching: 1 year (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• CPR Certification (Preferred)
