Job Title: Floating Teacher - Toddlers/Preschool

Position Summary
We teach by modeling kindness through creative play. Your focus will be on developmentally appropriate education that emphasizes emotional, physical, and spiritual health. These activities will occur within a safe, supportive environment where children can explore, build, and apply new skills.

Responsibilities
- Team collaboration for children to thrive
- Diaper changes / Helping with Potty
- Support your Lead Teacher by facilitating lunch, snacks, and other activities
- Cultivate close working relationships with families to encourage open communication and engagement.
- Create a safe, kind, and loving Care environment.
Requirements
- You love working with young children
- You are committed to each child individually
- You are adept at developing creative, lively, and interactive activities
- You are patient, warm, caring, and loving
- You must be physically able to lift up to 30 pounds and assume low-level postures to interact with children appropriately (you must be able to interact at “their level” every day, all day)
- You are CPR and First Aid Certified or willingness to obtain (we can help arrange this for you)
Education & Experience BS/BA degree in Early Childhood Education preferred but not required, OR AA/AS degree in Early Childhood Education or related field, OR Child Development Associate (CDA)

Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
