Chickering Elementary School seeks an Administrative Assistant for the 2025-26 School Year.
A successful candidate will have strong communication skills and be organized, efficient, and congenial to staff, students, and visitors to the school. Responsibilities include attention to detail in support of school administrators, office management, purchasing, and maintaining accounts.
Responsibilities Include:
-Provides administrative support to the Principal and Assistant Principal
-Meet and greet students, parents and visitors
-Answer phones and respond to security monitor for building access
-Daily student attendance in Aspen
-New student registrations in Aspen
-Manage substitutes and duty coverage
-Maintain Google calendar appointments for Principal and Assistant Principal
-Generate and manage purchase orders
-Maintain building copiers and order paper supplies
-Manage building room usage and billing, including PTO, Curriculum Enrichment and outside providers
-Maintains school website
-Coordinate and publish school email communication to parents/guardians Performs other duties as assigned by the Principal
