Job Summary
The Program Administrator plays a pivotal role in managing the full lifecycle of a grant processes within the organization. This includes identifying funding opportunities, preparing and submitting grant proposals, and ensuring compliance with grant guidelines and regulations. The Grants Administrator collaborates with various departments to monitor project progress, track expenditures and report on outcomes.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Facilitates prospect research, development, review/editing, and submission of grant proposals.
- Conducts research and maintains a library of appropriate funding sources for current and potential programs, as well as capital projects.
- Maintains communication with senior leadership, executive director, and staff to identify funding needs.
- Coordinates with social services supervisor to ensure program operation is in line with grant funding criteria and that program related reporting is completed as required.
- Completes all foundation proposals and grant applications.
- Coordinates with the Finance Department to complete grant reimbursement claims
- Drives grant process from start to finish, including coordinating application process; working with appropriate staff to establish program goals, outcomes, budgets; and completing proposals within established deadlines.
- Establishes and implements procedures to monitor and fulfill grant requirements.
- In partnership with Finance Department, tracks progress of awarded grants toward program/project goals, outcomes, as well as budget expense tracking, to effectively complete reporting requirements.
- Builds relationships and acts as a liaison to funders.
- Maintains relationships with community partners related to grant activities.
- Participates in staff meetings by contributing expertise and identifying possible solutions and process improvements.

Qualifications:
BA, AA from an accredited institution
Grant proficiency
Experience with Housing Community Partners
Experience with vulnerable populations
